Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Acceptance

By using Poofy you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Poofy. Poofy is operated by Liron Sher ("Poofy", "we", "us").

Eligibility

Poofy is set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account and for their child's use of the service. Children use Poofy only through an account a parent created.

The service

Poofy lets a child build in Minecraft by typing or speaking. During our pilot the service is provided free and "as is", and may change or pause as we improve it.

Minecraft — you must own a licensed copy

Poofy works with Minecraft: Java Edition but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang or Microsoft. To use Poofy you must own a genuine, licensed copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and sign in with a legitimate Microsoft/Mojang account. Poofy does not include, sell, or provide Minecraft, and does not let you play Minecraft without a valid licence. We do not distribute Minecraft's game files — Poofy installs its own free mod alongside your existing Minecraft, and the game itself is downloaded by your official launcher directly from Mojang/Microsoft. Your subscription pays for the Poofy service, not for the mod or for Minecraft. You may not use Poofy with any launcher or tool that circumvents Minecraft licensing or enables offline or unlicensed ("cracked") play. You are responsible for complying with Minecraft's own EULA and usage guidelines.

Subscriptions & billing

Poofy offers paid subscription plans (currently Poofy Basic and Poofy Pro). Prices are shown on our site in US dollars (USD); applicable taxes may be added. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. By starting a paid plan, the guardian authorizes us and our payment processor to charge the payment method on file for each renewal. During our pilot some paid features may be offered free; when billing begins we will make the price and renewal terms clear before any charge.

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which the plan will not renew.

Refunds

Monthly charges are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you were charged in error or believe something went wrong, email us at liron@heypoofy.com within 14 days and we'll review it in good faith.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers; card data is processed by the payment provider under its own terms and security standards.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Poofy: no illegal, harmful, or abusive use, no attempts to break or overload the service, and no use that violates Minecraft's own terms (see "Minecraft — you must own a licensed copy" above).

Your child's creations

Creations your child makes belong to your family. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service (for example, to store and show a creation back to your child).

Our content

The Poofy name, logo, mascot, and software are ours. Don't copy or reuse them without permission.

Termination

You can stop using Poofy at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access that violates these terms or risks others' safety.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.

Disclaimers & contact

To the extent allowed by law, Poofy is provided without warranties. These terms are governed by the laws of Israel (Tel Aviv). Questions: liron@heypoofy.com.
