Privacy Policy

Poofy is operated by Liron Sher (Tel Aviv, Israel) ("Poofy", "we", "us"). Poofy is a creative tool that lets children build in Minecraft by typing or speaking what they want to make. Poofy is set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian ("guardian"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices guardians have.

• Guardian account: the guardian's email address, used to sign in (we send a one-time magic link / code) and to manage the account.
• Child profile: a display name and a language preference that the guardian sets up for each child. We do not ask children for an email, phone number, address, or real name.
• Creations: the build requests a child types or speaks, and the resulting creations, so the child can preview, edit, and revisit what they made.
• Subscription & billing: if you choose a paid plan, our payment provider collects and processes your payment details. We keep only limited billing records (plan, status, and partial card info such as card type and last digits) to manage your subscription — never your full card number.
• Minimal technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Voice input ("talk to build") is transcribed on the child's own device; the audio is not sent to or stored on our servers.

We use this information only to provide Poofy: to sign the guardian in, to create and deliver builds into the child's Minecraft world, to let children preview and edit their creations, and to keep the service working and safe. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use a child's private creations to show advertising. If a guardian chooses to make a creation public (for example, in a community gallery), we may feature that creation — including on Poofy's social media — showing the creation itself, never personal information about the child.

On our parent-facing pages — never the children's homepage — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how parents find and use Poofy, and only after a visitor accepts our cookie banner. We configure it privately: IP addresses are anonymized, and Google Signals and ads personalization are turned off. We do not use analytics for advertising. The children's area loads no analytics at all.

Poofy is intended to be used by children under the supervision of a guardian. An account is created and controlled by the guardian, who provides verifiable parental consent for the child's use of the service — through setting up the account and completing the guardian checkout on the guardian's own device — before the child's information is used to deliver the service. We collect only the minimal information described above, never ask children for contact details, and never use a child's information for behavioural advertising or sell it. A guardian can review or delete their child's profile and creations, and withdraw consent, at any time (see "Your choices"); withdrawing consent stops further collection and leads to deletion of the child's data.

We share information only with the providers that help us run Poofy, and only as needed:

• Cloud hosting & database (Google Cloud) — to run the service and store accounts and creations.
• Email delivery (Resend) — to send the sign-in link to the guardian's email.
• AI model provider — a build request is processed by an AI model to turn it into a buildable plan.
• Payment processing — if you subscribe to a paid plan, a third-party payment provider processes your payment under its own terms; we receive confirmation and limited billing details, not your full card number.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We keep account and creation data while the account is active. A guardian can delete a child's profile and creations, or request deletion of the whole account, by contacting us at the address below; we will delete the associated personal data within a reasonable period.

Guardians can access, correct, or delete their account and their children's profiles and creations. To make a request, email us at the address below from the guardian email on the account.

We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard the data we hold.

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date below.
